The only estonian crew starting Rally Sweden this time will be Ott Tänak and Raigo Mõlder because Karl Kruuda and Martin Järveoja have decided to get more time in the car before a bigger rally.

Kruuda and Järveoja recently debuted their new DS 3 R5 at Rally Lapland, which got to a sudden end when they were forced to retire from the lead on the last stage of the rally: “We need a bit more time to train with the car and get more used to it. There’s a lot of work to do,” he said to Õhtuleht.

“It’s also got something to do with the tight budget we have, because of which we save up and use the little we have left into training and tests,” said Kruuda, who will be going after the WRC-2 title this year. “We’ll start from Portugal and then it’s going to be driving for points.” Additional rallies planned for the crew are Sardegna, Poland, Finland, Germany, France, Spain and Great Britain.
